(UPDATED AS OF 12/10/16)
Hello friends and family!
I don’t know where to start, but I’ve constantly been receiving quite a few questions regarding my move to Ireland. So here’s to hoping this page will provide some answers!
When are you leaving?
December 14th, 2016.
If you’ve graduated within the last 12 months, the US and Ireland have a Work Holiday Authorization in which we can work in each others country from 4 to 12 months, so I’ve obtained my WHA and am now eligible to work in Ireland!
Do you have a job over there?
Nope. I’ve decided just to wing this whole trip. Up to this point in my life, the less I plan, the better things have turned out, so why not just go in blind and figure it out as I go.
Do you have a place to live?
UPDATE: As of December 1st, I’ve acquired an apartment with two awesome roommates!
Again, nope. I will be flying over there and trying to find a place before taking off on more travels throughout Europe.
When will you be back?
My WHA will expire in a year, but who knows what will happen in a year! Hopefully, I’ll be back by then, if not we’ll see where I end up next in the next couple of years.
